The last couple of weeks have been manic as I have been out and about with my preserves joining in with so many events that are new to me. In particular the 4 day carnival weekend at Kimpton was an amazing feat of organisation and one I will definitely visit again next year. Last Sunday I went to the lovely Hertford Castle for their craft fair in the garden at the back of the castle; it was a perfect day and there were lots for the children as well as some very good live music. I have also been on a great family weekend to Warsaw and my lovely mum, who cuts all my fabric hats for me, celebrated her 90th birthday. Plus two of our three daughters have had their birthdays so I probably shouldn’t eat anymore cake for a while!
There is an updated list of events on the page on the website and as you can see I am going to have a busy summer which will be great fun, trying out new events and meeting new people. The photos on the pantry page have also been reshot by Keryn (Instar-Media) so show off the new labels on the jars. She has done a brilliant job at creating and maintaining my web page for me so thank you Keryn.
Next weekend I am taking a stall at the Hertfordshire County Show; I am a little nervous about it as I have never attended such a big event before and so I am fretting about questions like how much stock will I need etc…..Still these things usually work out all right in the end so if you are going to the Show call by and say hello, I will be in the Made in Hertfordshire Marquee.
Hope to see you on my travels.
